The Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons is proud to announce the creation of the ISEPS Global Ophthalmology Foundation (IGOF).  Its purpose is to support programs and efforts to expand the availability and the quality of medical, surgical and vision care throughout the world.

The IGOF is managed by a volunteer board of directors.  The founding officers and directors are:

The Foundation is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation.  We have submitted our application to be recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The directors will be developing a number of programs in the coming months.  We anticipate continuing our partnership with our colleague in Quang Tri Province, Vietnam and his NGO, the Community Development Fund.  Additional projects will be reported here as further details become available.
