The mission of ISEPS is to serve the total visual health care needs of the people through public and professional education, membership services, and legislative advocacy.  The Illinois Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons is dedicated to the public's direct access to an ophthalmologist's care.

What's New and Upcoming

  • Mark your calendars!  2020 "Perfect Vision" ISEPS-COS Joint Conference set for - Friday, March 6, 2020.  It will take place at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.  Planning is well underway... watch this space for details as they become available.

ISEPS News & Resources 

  • The recent news coverage about the child in Crystal Lake who was allegedly abused and murdered by his parents reminds us all about the critical role ophthalmologists and their office staff play in detecting and reporting potential situations of child and domestic abuse.  Last summer, several national ophthalmology organizations joined together with the American Academy of Pediatrics in  publishing a clinical report entitled, "The Eye Examination in the Evaluation of Child Abuse."  CLICK HERE to view the report.  (4/29/2019)
