Conference Overview

Welcome to "Frontiers & Controversies in Ophthalmology," the joint annual conference hosted by the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons and the Chicago Ophthalmological Society.  For 14 years, these two premier professional societies have sponsored what has become one of the largest state/local educational conferences in the nation.

This is an information-packed, one day conference.  In addition to a large exhibit hall, three concurrent educational sessions are held:

• Clinical education for ophthalmologists
• Practice management presentations for doctors and administrators (concurrent with the clinical session)
• Ophthalmic technicians (JCAHPO credit) focused on clinical courses for technical personnel in an ophthalmic office
• Residents breakout luncheon and roundtable discussion -- (additional registration is not required)
