Conference Overview

Welcome to "Frontiers & Controversies in Ophthalmology," the joint annual conference hosted by the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons and the Chicago Ophthalmological Society.  For 12 years, these two premier professional societies have sponsored what has become one of the largest state/local educational conferences in the nation.

This is an information-packed, one day conference.  In addition to a large exhibit hall, three concurrent educational sessions are held:

• Clinical education for ophthalmologists
• Practice management presentations for doctors and administrators (concurrent with the clinical session)
• Ophthalmic technicians (JCAHPO credit) focused on clinical courses for technical personnel in an ophthalmic office
• Residents breakout luncheon and roundtable discussion -- (additional registration is not required)
• New this year . . . lunch with the experts -- included in your physician registration

Meeting Site

The conference takes place in the conference facility of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.  The venue is near O'Hare International Airport and is close to major highways and just two blocks away from the CTA's Blue Line.
