The General Election on Tuesday, November 4 is now history.  Through your political action committee -- the Illinois Medical Eye-PAC -- ophthalmologists from throughout the state supported candidates who we believe will work to preserve the availability and quality of medical/surgical eye care in the state, and to promote smart choices in health care overall.  Now is the time to hold their feet to the fire!  We strongly encourage all ophthalmologists to get to know your elected representatives -- regardless of whether the Eye-PAC gave a contribution or not -- and to be a resource for them on health care issues. 

The list below represents the candidates the Illinois Medical Eye-PAC supported during the 2014 election cycle.  They are listed by the office with the result from the general election indicated.   Thanks to all of our 170+ contributors who donated more than $60,000 this year to the PAC.  Without our financial support, we would not have been able to effectively represent you in the political process!
